Applications:
Oil well Acidizing, Bactericide in sugar industry for checking the invisible loss of sugar due to bacteria.
Also in breweries and distilleries as sterilizing agent and preservative for ferment industry. Constituent in chemical cleaning of boilers and evaporators (Silica scale removal.) car washing, also can be used for glass frosting and etching glass. Extracting rare elements and used as a preservative or a mordant. In manufacture of ceramic, alloy magnesium.
